Update from Chief Executive Mark Wynn, 15 December 2025
As we come to the end of the year, I want to take a moment to say thank you. This has been another year of hard work, dedication and making a real difference for the people of Lancashire.
It’s hard to believe we’re nearly at the end of 2025. It’s been a year of change and progress and at times the months have felt like a blur. I know not everyone will get the chance to take a break over the festive period, so a special thank you goes to those continuing to deliver essential services, support vulnerable residents and keep Lancashire running. Your commitment is truly appreciated.
Hear from me and the Leader
Looking back and feeling proud
As we move into the new year, it’s a good time to pause and recognise what we’ve achieved together. Our Yearbook is back, and it’s your space to share key moments from the past year, whether it’s something you’re proud of or a colleague’s contribution you’d like to celebrate.
Recognition matters. It helps us celebrate the impact we’ve made and the difference we continue to make across Lancashire. Every achievement counts, big or small.
I always enjoy reading these stories, and I hope you will too. Please take a moment to add yours or browse what others have shared. The site is also available to staff who don’t have access to the intranet.
Finally, I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy New Year. Thank you again for everything you do.
Take care.
Mark
