Communicating with our customers

  • Our new Enquiries System is now live for staff and councillors. This is the first phase, with plans to extend access to MPs and residents in the coming months.
  • The system will modernise enquiry handling, improve customer satisfaction and support staff to manage enquiries more effectively.
  • When communicating with customers, remember our Council Values. Use plain English, avoid jargon, and make sure your tone and level of detail are right for the message and the audience.
  • You can find useful resources for communicating with our customers on our intranet.
