This is your opportunity to share your experiences, shape our culture, and influence the future of working life at Lancashire County Council.
There are two versions of the survey, one for staff who regularly use a work computer or device and one for staff who don't.
All responses are completely confidential.
You can access the survey on council devices, library computers, or your mobile phone using the QR code on promotional materials.
If you manage a team without regular access to the intranet or internet, please make sure they’re aware of the survey and how to take part. Letters have also been sent to home addresses of non-networked staff.
New look intranet
You may already know that we're in the process of rolling out a new intranet built on SharePoint to help you find information more easily.
The new Communications section will be live from Monday 29 September. You can access the site in the usual way through our current intranet, but any pages within the Communications section will take you to the new site. Please use the feedback form at the top of each page to report any issues.
The new site offers better search, easier content management, and integrates with Microsoft 365 tools.
Clear layout, intuitive navigation, and accessible design also make it easier to find trusted, up-to-date information.
Over the next few months, more sections will become available. Please keep an eye on staff news for further updates.
Senior management appointments
We’re pleased to welcome several new colleagues to our senior leadership team:
Brendan Arnold will join us shortly as Interim Director of Finance and Commerce (Section 151 Officer). The permanent post will be advertised shortly.
Sarah Reed joined us this month as Interim Director of Strategy and Transformation.
Jacqui McGeachie will join us in October as Interim Director of People.
Ian Wilkin has been appointed as Head of Accessible Transport Service in the Growth, Environment, Transport and Health Directorate. His appointment also strengthens the directorate’s capacity to support the setup and development of the Lancashire County Combined Authority (LCCA).
We look forward to working with all our new senior managers and wish them every success in their roles.
Following a merger in 2024, Vivup will now be known as Perkbox.
The new Perkbox platform brings together Vivup's public sector expertise in areas like salary sacrifice benefits and wellbeing with Perkbox's discounts, rewards, and recognition features.
