New Outlook is coming
- Our Digital Services will soon begin introducing the new version of Outlook across the organisation.
- This new version offers a more modern, faster and intuitive experience, with enhanced AI features, better integration with Microsoft 365 and a consistent experience across devices.
- The rollout will be phased, and you’ll be able to switch between the old and new versions of Outlook until next year, giving everyone time to get used to the changes.
- We’ll provide support, guidance and training to help you feel confident using the new layout and features.
- Further updates will be shared as the rollout progresses.
Lancashire Service Finder
- You may already know that the county council is currently developing the Lancashire Service Finder - an online directory of support services across Lancashire which we plan to promote to the public in early summer.
- The service finder will be the main place for residents (and professionals supporting them) to find and access services that meet their needs.
- We've recently asked some of you to help us improve the Lancashire Service Finder by giving us your initial impressions of the tool. If you've been asked to review the directory, please share your feedback by 22 May.
- If you find a service is not listed on the directory, we encourage you to directly contact them and ask them to register using this form.
- Please note the directory is still in development and new services are being added regularly.
New collaboration space for directors
- A new open collaboration space is now available on the first floor of County Hall, primarily for directors to use with colleagues and teams.
- The space will support better collaboration and cross-directorate working, helping directors to be more accessible and connected to day-to-day work.
- Directors are encouraged to use the space with their teams—for meetings, informal catchups, working alongside colleagues and drop-in conversations.
- Location: County Hall, first floor (corridor leading to Mark Wynn’s office).
- Drop-in use: no booking needed (spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis).
- Please help us make the most of it by using the space to stay connected, share ideas and work more collaboratively across teams and directorates.
