Resilience Planning
Resilience (or emergency) planning involves creating and maintaining strategies to ensure that that the county council can effectively respond to and recover from emergencies.
The Resilience Team ensure that the council has comprehensive, effective, and resilient arrangements in place that meets its statutory duties under civil protection and other relevant legislation to:
- Protect the citizens, communities and environment of Lancashire from the impacts of emergencies.
- Protect the delivery of council functions in the event of internal disruption and recover services as quickly as possible.
- Enhance the levels of resilience within the communities of Lancashire.
