Chief finance officer (S151 officer)

The executive director of resources is the council’s officer responsible for ensuring the proper administration of the council’s financial affairs and that actions and decisions are in accordance with the council’s budget.

Monitoring officer

The role of the monitoring officer is to ensure that the council at all times acts lawfully and within its own rules and procedures as set down in the council’s constitution.
