EU Settlement Scheme: Information for supporting adults to apply

Help us to help EU and EEA Citizens

As a local authority, we are a major provider of information affecting people’s everyday lives and often the first point of contact for a diverse range of people on many important issues. We also have responsibilities to support vulnerable groups. You can help provide assistance to those non UK EU Nationals who need support to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme – particularly those citizens that are most vulnerable and hard-to-reach. By working collaboratively through local and regional networks we need to ensure that EU citizens in our area are informed about the EU Settlement Scheme and encouraged to apply. You can support vulnerable or at-risk non UK EU Nationals by raising awareness and providing information, as well as signposting them to the appropriate support services to meet their needs. The Home Office have produced a set of materials that can be downloaded and utilised in a variety of ways in community settings and locations.
