Poulton Library will reopen on Tuesday 4 December at 9am.
The library, based on Blackpool Old Road, closed recently (Tuesday 23 October) to allow essential repair work to the ceiling in the main public area to be carried out.
County Councillor Peter Buckley, Lancashire County Council's cabinet member for community and cultural services, said: "We're very sorry for any inconvenience caused due to the library being closed.
"We've done all we can to make sure that the necessary work was completed as soon as possible, and we are on track to reopen to the public as normal from next Tuesday."
A temporary library service, based in a mobile unit, will be available on Friday 30 November from 3.30pm to 4.30pm while repairs are ongoing to the library.
The mobile unit will be located during this time on the car park in front of the library.
All library members can use their cards at any library in Lancashire.
