Clayton Green Library is holding a model railway display later this week.
The exhibition, suitable for people of all ages, will be held on Saturday 4 August from 9am to 12 noon.
The display will feature three different sized tracks set in a summer scene, along with models of Thomas the Tank Engine and Percy.
County Councillor Peter Buckley, Lancashire County Council's cabinet member for community and cultural services, said: "I hope that people go along to take a look at the various models that will be on display.
"I'm sure that younger visitors to the library in particular will enjoy the special appearance from Thomas and Percy."
