There will be temporary reductions to opening hours of Skelmersdale, Ormskirk and Parbold libraries for a short time starting in March.
From 12 March to 9 April, Skelmersdale Library, on Southway, will be open as follows:
Saturday 12 March 9am to 12 noon
Saturday 19 March 9am to 4pm
Saturday 26 March 9am to 12 noon
Saturday 2 April 9am to 4pm
Saturday 9 April 9am to 12 noon
The nearest libraries to Skelmersdale for people to use during the reduced opening hours are:

From 5 March to 9 April, Ormskirk Library, on Union Street, will be open as follows:
Saturday 5 March 9am to 12 noon
Saturday 12 March 9am to 12 noon and 1.30pm to 4pm
Saturday 19 March 9am to 12 noon
Saturday 26 March 9am to12 noon and 1.30pm to 4pm
Saturday 2 April 9am to 12 noon
Saturday 9 April 9am to12 noon and 1.30pm to 4pm
The nearest libraries to Ormskirk for people to use during the reduced opening hours are:

Ormskirk Library will also close on Mondays and Fridays at 5pm instead of 7pm until Saturday 9 April.
Parbold Library will continue to close between 1pm to 2pm on Mondays to Fridays until Saturday 9 April.
The reduced opening hours are due to staff shortages.
All library members can use their cards at any library in Lancashire.
Anyone who lives in the UK can join a Lancashire library, either online or by visiting in person. It's free and there are no age restrictions.
