The Primary English and Literacy Team at Lancashire Professional Development Service (LPDS) have developed a new systematic, synthetic phonics planning programme using the Letters and Sounds approach titled Red Rose Letters and Sounds.

This course is designed to support practitioners in delivering the Red Rose Letters and Sounds Programme for Phases 2,3, 4 and 5. Practical support will be provided when looking at a weekly plan and the sequence of revisit/review, teach, practise and apply will be examined in detail with a focus on explicit teaching and application across a week.

This course is suitable for teachers and teaching assistants who plan and deliver Red Rose Letters and Sounds for these phases.
