NHS Greater Preston CCG

NHS Greater Preston CCG is made up of 25 GP practices, who care for around 210,000 patients (December 2018). The majority live in the district of Preston with the remaining patients mainly coming from the districts of South Ribble, Ribble Valley, Wyre and Fylde.

The registered population is evenly split between females and males. The population breakdown shows 16% of the population is aged 65 or over and 31% is aged 0-24 years, reflecting the large student population; the remaining 52% of the population is aged 25 to 64.
