NHS East Lancashire CCG

NHS East Lancashire CCG is made up of 51 GP practices, who care for over 388,000 patients (June 2020) making it the largest CCG in the Lancashire-12 area. The majority live in the districts of Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, Ribble Valley and Rossendale, with the remaining patients mainly coming from Blackburn.

The registered population shows slightly fewer females (49.7%) compared to males (50.3%). Almost a fifth (18%) of the population is aged 65 or over, 30% are aged 24 or under, and the remainder (52%) are aged between 25 and 64.
