We are investing in new, additional resources in our Strategic Development Team to strengthen capacity and deliver an extensive programme of development programme, projects, initiatives and major transport and highway interventions to an accelerated programme.

To build our ambitious team we will be recruiting for a wide range of professional roles. These new positions will complement the existing Strategic Development Team, within the Growth Environment Transport and Health directorate, and assist in the delivery of our challenging and exciting vision.

Strategic Development roles

We are looking for exceptional candidates who have the ability to deliver outcomes as a key member of a number of projects and work-streams at any given time, working in collaboration with other specialist disciplines and key partners – these can vary in both scale and nature, making the workload extremely interesting.

The vacancies are:

Programme Manager (Commercial)

A Programme Manager to provide commercial development expertise and support the delivery of a comprehensive programme of growth and regeneration projects.

Project Managers x2

Project Managers to support the delivery of a range of Growth and Regeneration programmes, projects and initiatives within a commercial environment.

Project Officers

A Project Officer with experience of working within a public and/or private sector setting in multi-disciplinary project teams, on a broad range of Growth and Regeneration programmes and projects.

Location

The Strategic Development Team is based in County Hall in central Preston, which is conveniently located next to the railway station which provides local, regional and national rail services.
