Learie Constantine: A Nelson Lad from Trinidad (Nelson)

Wednesday, 30 October 2019 from 13:00 - 19:00

As part of Black History Month, we are proud to host the Learie Constantine exhibition, the well-loved Nelson cricketer. Using books, videos, photographs and clippings, the exhibition chronicles his life as a cricketer, lawyer, High Commissioner and Britain's first black peer. This year marks the 50th anniversary of Learie being awarded a life peerage.

All welcome, no booking required.

This is a non-bookable event, don’t get a ticket, just turn up on the day.
