Tuesday, 17 April 2018 from 09:00 - 17:00
Catherine Aubrey is a local artist, living and working in Appley Bridge. She is best known for her use of vibrant colour and quirky themes in her work.
Whilst she has always been drawn to painting the female form, recently Catherine has also developed an interest in birds, animals and wildlife and she has produced work which is influenced, in part, by the Folk Art movement.
Catherine last exhibited in 2017, successfully selling her work to raise money for the National Deaf Children's Society. She is also a passionate supporter of Public Services and this exhibition aims to support local library resources.
