During this course you will have the opportunity to explore the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and how it is used in pre-school settings. Through a gentle introduction to the Early Years Foundation Stage, you will look at the 7 areas of learning in the EYFS Curriculum, examine each area of learning and identify appropriate activities linked to these areas. You will look at the importance of play and active learning, and how to encourage children to develop their literacy, communication, language and numeracy skills through play and activities. Parents/carers are welcome to attend with their children, preferably one adult to one child.
This event is free to all adults over 19, but booking is required.
