Lancaster District Community Wellbeing Fund

This fund is now closed to applications.

The Lancaster District Community Wellbeing Fund aims to encourage local people to work together to improve the health and wellbeing of the residents of Lancaster District.  We are keen to support projects where a small amount of money will allow them to expand their activities to reach more people or to start new activities.  We would particularly like to support smaller organisations that don't get lots of grant funding from other places.

To be successful a group must:

  • Be based within Lancaster District.
  • Spend our grant and complete your project within 12 months of it being offered

Tell us:

  • What you will spend the money on
  • Who will benefit from it
  • How it will improve health and wellbeing

We also want to know how you will continue the activity after our funding has been spent.

You cannot ask for any money to pay for things you have already carried out/purchased

How much is available?

A total fund of £100,000 has been allocated and grants from £500 to £2,000 are available, to support new project activity taking place within the boundaries of the Lancaster District. We have staff who will work alongside applicants to ensure that we make the most of the funding available.

If you need to discuss any aspect of your project proposal, please email lancasterdistrictcwf@lancashire.gov.uk or telephone 01772 530650.
