Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our partners within the Lancashire Resilience Forum are working together to monitor existing and anticipated PPE levels on a daily basis, to ensure sufficient supplies are distributed to those most in need.
Deliveries are also being received from Central Government, which will assist with the levels of equipment needed for key workers in Lancashire.
More equipment may still be needed, if the coronavirus situation changes in the future.
Businesses and organisations in Lancashire are also encouraged to offer spare safety equipment. This could include supplies in schools, businesses and voluntary organisations, which are currently closed due to coronavirus.
Any donated equipment would be used to protect key workers from various organisations.
We are co-ordinating the collection of any spare equipment, so if you have any to donate, please complete our online form. Alternatively, you can call 0300 123 6787.
The types of PPE which could be donated include:
- FFP3 face masks sometimes referred to as respirators (garages/vehicle paint sprayers may have these)
- Type IIR fluid resistant face masks, sometimes referred to as surgical face masks
- Nitrile disposable gloves in any size
- Disposable plastic aprons – usually come in rolls of 200
- Disposable visors
