School appeal hearing dates (September 2023 intake)
By law we must publish the dates on which appeals for September intake admissions will be heard.
These are provisional dates and are subject to change. Days could be added to or cancelled depending on the volume of appeals lodged and how the Independent Appeal Panel decide that they are to be conducted.
The deadline to submit an appeal is:
- 29 March 2023 for secondary Year 7 appeals
- 17 May 2023 for primary Reception appeals
Any appeals submitted after the deadline may be heard after all on time appeals have been heard.
An appeals officer will be in touch with you before the hearing date and will provide full details.
Academy and free school appeals will be scheduled along with the relevant voluntary aided district dates.
