The European Passport Return Service is available for European Economic Area (EEA) and Swiss nationals applying online using the EEA(QP) or EEA(PR) application forms to obtain permanent residency in the UK.
As a participating Local Authority we can photocopy EEA or Swiss passports and forward a copy along with the checklist, application and supporting documents to the Home Office. Your passport will then be available for use while your application is being processed.
The fee for this service is £10 per applicant plus postage (dependent on weight).
The service is available on Thursdays 9.30am – 11.30am at Certificate Services, The Archives Office, Bow Lane, Preston PR1 2RE. Waiting times may vary depending on the demand for this service.

This service will not ensure that the form has been completed correctly or that the correct supporting documents are submitted. Applications must be complete and ready to send at the time of appointment. We are unable to photocopy and certify ID cards.
