Libraries

Libraries are free for everyone to join!

You can borrow or download books (including graphic novels and Manga), hire DVDs and music CDs and use PCs for free.

Free Wi-Fi access is available in most libraries.

There are events at all our libraries including reading groups for all ages, creative writing, story times for parents and young children, talks, games, music events and learning opportunities.

Volunteering opportunities are available to support young people's reading sessions, craft sessions and helping people get online. The service also runs the arts award.

You can access our library service online where you can browse the library catalogue, renew and request items, ask a question, find information for homework and study, prepare for your driving test as well as download eBooks to read or eAudiobooks to listen to.
