What is the local offer?

The local offer has information about the support and services you can get if you have special educational needs or a disability.

It is for children and young people up to age 25 and their families.

You can find Lancashire's local offer at www.lancashire.gov.uk/send.

If you don't have access to the internet at home you can get help to access it at some libraries and schools or you can call our liaison officers who can give you information about services.

The following short film from the Council for Disabled Children talks about the local offer which is part of the new SEND law that came in on 1 September 2014.
