In the council's website you can find out more about public transport and alternative ways to travel such as cycling or walking to help you make the most of your budget.

For coach travel National Express provides a young persons coach card for people between 16 and 26 to get cheaper coach travel. Full time students of any age can also apply. You pay a fee for the discount card.

For rail travel you can apply for a 16-25 Railcard to get discounts. You pay a fee for the discount card.
