We make a significant contribution to the provision of professional social work training provided by our partner universities and we provide over 80 student placements every year.
If you leave school at 16 or 17 and are interested in a career in Social Work, you can start a preliminary further education college course in Social Care or pursue a modern apprenticeship in Health and Social Care.
Working as a volunteer, whether within your own community or further a field, is tremendously fulfilling and can be an excellent way to find out whether you’d like a career in social work.
