Spot purchased services

The Contracts Unit purchases the following services on a spot basis:

• Residential care
• Adult placement
• Domiciliary care
• Day care
• Hot and frozen delivered meals

Please note that to become a contracted provider of Lancashire County Council Social Services Directorate you must first read the coving letter and the Contract. You should then complete and return the Contract Acceptance Form along with the BACS Application Form. Please keep a copy of the Contract for your records. Please note that all care homes, care homes with nursing and domiciliary care providers of personal care must first be registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). Any care home wishing to provide day care must first have written notification from the CSCI to confirm that they have approved the proposed arrangements.
