Monitoring of Care Homes During fee negotiations for 2008/9 it was indicated that changes to the monitoring of providers would be implemented. One of the reasons for this was to reassure Elected Members that the additional resources put into fees were underpinning a continued rise in the quality of services provided.

Please find below details for completing the second questionnaire for the determination of your care home's banding for 2009/10. As you are aware, the banding will be determined on the questionnaires that you submit. The training element of the scheme is determined by taking an average of your returns from the three questionnaires. The scoring in relation to your care home's environment will be taken from the questionnaire completed in December 2008.
