Change 4 Life 'Be Food Smart' campaign
We know that families don’t always know how much sugar, saturated fat and salt is in their food. Which means that millions of kids are eating way too much of it. For example, children in the UK are consuming nearly three times more sugar than the maximum daily recommendation.
That’s why Public Health England have developed the Be Food Smart app – with a simple scan families can see what’s in their food and drinks, along with some handy hints and tips. Plus, there are food detective activities for children and mini missions for the whole family.
