19th Century British Library Newspapers has been developed by Gale in partnership with the British Library and offers national, regional and local 19th century British newspapers, taken directly from the holdings of the British Library. The collection contains over two million pages from forty eight titles and unlocks extensive newspaper content which is invaluable for the researching and studying of 19th century history. This Google site includes access to digitised newspaper records from all over the world. This includes the data from the fomer "Paper of Record" website which provided digital copies of newspapers from around the world including The Maple Leaf (1945-46), a paper given to Canadians fighting in Europe, the Daily Mirror (1953) and Liverpool Echo (1886-1984 partial). Unfortunately, the original search interface from "Paper of Record" is not currently available (17/02/09).

SUNCAT is an EDINA service which enables researchers and librarians to locate serials held in libraries throughout the UK. SUNCAT contains information on both print and electronic serials, including journals, periodicals, newspapers, newsletters, magazines, annual reports and other publications of a continuing nature. SUNCAT includes serials' information from over 60 UK libraries, including the British Library, the National Libraries of Scotland and Wales, some of the largest Higher Education institutions in the UK and a number of specialist libraries. Serials holdings from new libraries will be added over time.
