LCDL is the economic development arm of Lancashire County Council. It offers business support, industrial and commercial property and business assistance to any enterprising business based in Lancashire or those planning to relocate to the county.
LDDA is tasked with enhancing broadband availability across Lancashire, marketing and promoting the benefits of broadband, and managing grants for the innovative use of broadband.
Lancashire Economic Partnership (LEP) is formed to promote growth and prosperity throughout Lancashire. The Partnership has emerged from the coming together of the Lancashire West Partnership and East Lancashire Partnership.
The Lancashire MADE Public section of Safer Lancashire aims to give up-to-date headline statistics from all partners involved in improving the safety of communities in Lancashire. Data is based on ward profiles and is updated monthly.

The North West Regional Development Agency is responsible for the sustainable economic development and regeneration of England's Northwest and has five key priorities: Business Development, Regeneration, Skills and Employment, Infrastructure, and Image.
Supported by the North West Development Agency, the RIU facilitates access to key social and economic intelligence about the North West and its constituent areas. As well as providing a signposting service, the RIU undertakes or commissions its own research, making the results available online.

Although constituted as a government department, the GAD operates as a consultancy firm within the public sector, offering independent actuarial advice and charging fees for its services. It is a non-profit organisation so fee rates are set solely to meet its costs.
