Welcome to your Lancashire

Social and economic intelligence

This is a list of all social and economic intelligence on Lancashire Profile.

Items labelled with internal link are internal links to pages elsewhere on our website. Some of these present data in graphical or tabular form with little or no comment. Many, however, offer extensive analysis and commentary. Most have the writer's name in the information box in the top right-hand corner of the page. If you have any questions or suggestions about the content of an article, just click on the writer's name to send an email.

Items labelled with external link are external links to sites outside Lancashire Profile. We think they're useful but we're not responsible for their content and we may not be able to help you with them.

Some items may appear under more than one heading.

See our health and wellbeing intelligence site for much more on the health and wellbeing of Lancashire.

If there's something else you'd like to see here or if you can't find something that used to be here, email us with your requests and suggestions.

Social and Economic Intelligence Legacy Site

Please note that the new social and economic intelligence home page has replaced this former edition of the home page as the primary point of entry for the social and economic section of the Lancashire Profile website and the home for most of the new material being added to the site.

There are however some historic pieces of work that will remain as archived material on this former site (e.g., pre 2010 Index of Multiple Deprivation results and analysis). There are also a few work areas that still need to be transferred to the new site therefore this legacy edition of the home page will continue to have some updates until the new home page becomes fully operational. The What's New section will continue to keep people informed of all updates and it remains accessible via both the legacy and new site.
