The next full Census of England and Wales will take place on Sunday 27 March 2011. On this day the Office for National Statistics (ONS) will ask every household in England and Wales to complete a census questionnaire. The information gathered is used by the ONS to provide population estimates which government, local authorities and other organisations use to fund, plan and deliver public services such as healthcare, education, housing and transport.
ONS are looking for census area managers to manage a number of tasks, including ensuring the maximum number of people return their questionnaires.
Please visit the ONS job vacancies website for more information.
