A Lancashire County Council service will relocate to a new base in March.
From Tuesday 29 March, the Certificates Service will move to Lancashire Archives on Bow Lane, Preston.
It is currently located in Quayside Court on Chain Caul Way, Preston. This office will close on Friday 18 March at 4pm.
The service issues all the birth, death and marriage records for Lancashire and holds all records of these since 1837.
From Monday 21 March to Monday 28 March, copies of birth, death or marriage certificates can either be obtained by ordering online, or by calling in at an alternative office.
Normal service will be available at the Lancashire Archives office from 9am on Monday 29 March.
