Congratulations to Ronald Clarke, the Britain's Got Talent star and Lancashire County Council employee who appeared on the BBCs One Show on Friday 11 May.
Ronald, along with the rest of the B Positive Choir, sang a short acapella version of their audition song 'Rise Up' to open the show. The choir then sang the full version at the end of the show to close the programme, which was a special episode to celebrate 70 years of the NHS.
The B Positive Choir aim to encourage more people to give blood. They are the official choir of the National Health Service Blood and Transplant service.
Ronald, a key worker for Lancashire County Council's children and family wellbeing service, said: "We had a great show on Friday. It was fantastic. The NHS Patient Awards were presented by Michael Sheen.
"It was quite a tear-jerker listening to some of the stories about adversities people had overcome. It was also good to listen to stories of NHS staff, who go above and beyond to help people every day.
"We really enjoyed singing and hopefully the performance will encourage even more people to give blood."
