Children visiting Clitheroe Castle Museum will have a fun time with many exciting activities on offer throughout October.
Events range from making your own spooky finger puppets or ceramic owl tealight holder to seeing real owls at the museum.
Other activities include a competition to find mini witches, goblins and skeletons hiding around the museum.
County Councillor Peter Buckley, Lancashire County Council's cabinet member for community and cultural services, said: "We've got so many enjoyable and different activities taking place at the museum.
"Many of the activities are suitable for all ages. Children can certainly learn through taking part and we've also got events that adult visitors would enjoy.
"There's something for everyone, whatever the weather."
Admission is £4.30 for adults, £3.20 for concessions. Accompanied children go free.
Limited car parking is available for disabled visitors.
