Clitheroe Castle Competition Winner

Clitheroe Castle Museum's December treasure hunt has been won by a six year–old visitor.
Jasmine Moorby, from Clitheroe, was picked from 61 entries in a competition to find 31 Christmas presents hidden at the museum.
Jasmine won a goodie bag full of items from the museum shop and was presented with a winner's certificate.
Miles Peachey, Lancashire County Council's acting museum manager at Clitheroe Castle, said: "Our young visitors really enjoy searching for the toys hidden within the museum.
"The children are having fun and learning at the same time."
Andrew Moorby, Jasmine's father, said: "I try to visit the museum every month with Jasmine.
"We find something new every time and it is a fun way for Jasmine to learn about history and our local area.
"Jasmine loves searching for the hidden items and she is thrilled to have won the competition.
"Visiting Clitheroe Castle is a superb family day out with really friendly and helpful staff.
"We're already looking forward to visiting again soon."
Admission is £4.10 for adults, £3.05 for concessions. Accompanied children go free.
