***Anyone who would like to have a award sent by post please could you leave your name and address, don't forget your address because some of you have asked already but not left your details!! please get back to us, we are waiting to send your award!***

Here is a list of Smile awards that you can work towards.

Smile Computer award

This is available for teachers taking part in class visits and for individuals, parents and carers.  For example, if you are a parent who would like to encourage your child to develop computer skills by making use of the Smile Computer, please consult the staff and nominate your child for an achievement award.

Class visit award

Pupils who successfully take part in an interactive class visit will each receive a certificate of achievement.

Teacher or class award

Teachers can nominate a class or individual pupil for an award for outstanding effort.  This can be as a result of linking school curriculum with Smile visits or use of library resources.  Work done in school can be displayed within your library.

Other awards

Smile awards are designed to reward the individual whenever libraries have been involved in any form of learning or area of self development.  Working in partnership with parents, carers and professionals enables us to reward children and young people on a more flexible basis that most suits the needs of the individual.  Speak to your Smile Staff if you think your child or pupil would like an award.

Competitions/Activity Awards

Smile Centres will be holding events and activities in the future.  Awards will be given to encourage fun and learning.  We will endeavour to accommodate all children by offering a range of formats for entry to our competitions, for example, writing, colouring, computer print outs, model making, etc.

If you would like details of future events, please give your name and address to the library staff when you request your Smile award, so that we can put you on our mailing list.

Don’t forget to Smile and have fun!!!
