Postage and packing charges are 'per order' and will only be increased if the weight exceeds 250g.

The prices quoted above are for machine-produced copies on photographic paper. Please Contact us for information about prices of other photographs (e.g. larger sizes, hand printed photographs, slides etc) not listed. The Print Sizes above are enlargements of the most common format of negative used, which is 35mm. For medium format and other sizes of negative, we will endeavour to find the ‘best fit’ for the size you request but please note that the image may not completely fill the paper.

When ordering, please Contact us with the following information:

  • ‘Record Number’ of the image to be copied (the first line of the ‘Item Details’ as displayed on the website)
  • Brief Title of the image
  • Size of print required
  • Black & White, Colour (only where original is in colour) or Sepia (sepia prints are priced as for black and white or colour)
  • Whether you wish the print/s to be delivered by post or collected in person. If you wish to come in person, please state which library (in Lancashire County Library and Information Service) is most convenient for you.
  • Images can be delivered on CD/DVD; the cost is £4.50 per image plus £1.00 for the CD/DVD. The postal charge will be increased if the weight exceeds 250g.
  • We will presume that the copy is for ‘research for a non-commercial purpose or private study’ , and only one copy of a particular image will be provided. If the copy is for another purpose, e.g. commercial, please Contact usReproduction Fees may apply.
  • In every case you will be asked to complete a copyright declaration form.
