Many libraries in the County hold substantial collections of photographs covering every aspect of life in Lancashire; these collections are available to enhance the work of customers in their research.

 These collections have been built up from gifts and purchases over many years and give snapshots of everyday life, work, and leisure as well as being a record of the built environment and landscape.
