Welcome to the Library and Information Service web site

Our resources

Use the navigation at the left hand side to select the information you require.

You can access the Lancashire county library catalogue. We also maintain the Online Reference Library which provides access to a range of online sources from your local library, home or any internet PC

There are also extracts from our own catalogue - there are reading lists for different types of stock and a selection of new stock and new releases which is updated every month or so. If you want, you can also read book reviews submitted by our users, and even submit your own reviews. You can also have a look through a list of our most requested items and see which are our most popular books this week.

There is also news of the Unclassified fiction scheme in Colne Library

Special Collections - View some of the many special collections that we have available to us here in Lancashire. From manuscripts to photographs to pamphlets, find out where we store miscellaneous items of interest.
