Crawshawbooth Library has re-opened following a major revamp. The new library offers a modern, attractive and flexible space aimed at meeting the needs and expectations of the local community.

The new look library has been designed to provide a light, spacious and open environment with a
plasma screen providing information on a range of library services and community news, and
12 computers with internet access for the public to use for free.

There has been substantial capital investment in libraries over the last three years with over 20 of the 74 libraries being modernised as part of the "Regenerate" programme to modernise libraries by creating flexible space based on community need.
