Young People's Alcohol Survey
Lancashire Trading Standards Alcohol and Tobacco survey is completed by young people aged between 14-17 years old across Lancashire. Schools participate in the online survey which is undertaken to assess the behaviour and attitudes of pupils towards alcohol and tobacco. The survey is undertaken on a bi-annual basis; findings of this study are used to;
- Inform strategies for dealing with the sale of alcohol and tobacco to young people who are under age
- Monitor changes in behaviour and attitudes regarding alcohol consumption
- Identify key areas to focus efforts in addressing health and social related issues around alcohol and tobacco.
