You could be speaking to customers on the phone, responding to their emails or even engaging with them via social media. We will provide you with excellent training and development, including regular conversations and coaching with your line manager, to ensure you can continue delivering the extraordinary experience our customers expect.

Our opening hours are 8:00am – 8:00pm Monday to Friday and 9:00am – 7:00pm Saturday and Sunday meaning we can offer a range of shift patterns for both full and part time staff.

Career opportunities

Our excellent career opportunities are evidenced by our internal progression with over 50 staff being promoted within our service in the last 12 months. Many of our Customer Service Advisors who have demonstrated the right attitude and behaviour while delivering a high standard of customer care have moved on to new the roles within the service. These have ranged from Team Leaders, Information Officers, Resource Planners and Technical Support Officers to name just a few. This is a service where hard work, excellent attitude and delivering a fantastic service to customers is recognised.

Customer Service advisor in Social Care ( 2 years) – Promoted to Technical support officer (April 2016)

Resource planning officer (3 years) – promoted to Resource Planning Manager (April 2017)

Stef was a Customer Service advisor in Social Care for 6 years. She was promoted to Resource Planning Manager in August 2016.

Customer Service advisor in Social Care ( 4 years) – promoted to Team Leader in Social Care (February 2017)

Customer Service advisor in Multi skilled (5 years) – promoted to Team Leader Multi skilled (April 2017)

Customer Service advisor in Social Care (4 years) - Promoted to Information and Training Manager (July 2017)

We cover roles ranging from Customer Service Advisors to Team Leaders and Operational Managers along with a host of back office support functions. Operations managers

The Operations Manager post in Lancashire will be responsible for managing a number of Team Leaders and Customer advisor teams within Lancashire, it is not a first line management post but a step up from this requiring an operational and more strategic approach. Operations Manager will lead on overseeing the work of the teams, analysing performance management information, and in ensuring effective systems and processes are in place to achieve the best outcomes for customers.


Team Leader

The Team Leader post is a first line management role developed to provide supervision, direction and support to a team of customer service advisors within Customer Access Service they are needed across both our Social Care and multi-skilled service centres. They will provide direct supervision to customer service advisors and ensure that the service we provide is of a good quality and meets the needs of customers.

The customer service advisor post provides the first point of contact for Customer Access Service. You could be speaking to customers on the phone, responding to their emails or even engaging with them via Social Media.
