Stay healthy for the ones you love
As you get older, there is a higher risk of developing a condition such as high blood pressure, heart disease or diabetes. It is important that everyone in Lancashire between the ages of 40 and 74 has a free NHS health check to keep them ticking over.
If you don't want to do it for yourself then do it for the ones you love - children, grandchildren, partners and elderly parents may depend on you and it is important to keep yourself keep fit and healthy for them.
The check should take less than 20 minutes and will look at your:
- Family medical history
- Cholesterol levels
- Blood pressure
It is unlikely that there is anything wrong, but if there is a problem you'll be given plenty of help and advice to make the lifestyle changes you need to keep everything running smoothly.
