Getting our support
We have worked with previous users of our service to help us understand what you want to know about your care options and also what you expect from us, so we can make finding the right care as simple and straight forward as possible for you.
We understand you may not want to ask us for our support. You may have read our assessment and eligibility criteria and feel you are not eligible for our services. If so, other options for 'arranging your own care' are available.
If you have tried these options or feel you need our support please get in touch with us. We will then ask a few questions to work out your needs. If we think we can help you, we will work with you to think about your needs and how you would prefer them to be met. If necessary, we can arrange some short term services while you think about and plan your support.
You may find it helpful to read through the following information before getting in touch with us:
- Our assessment process
- Eligibility criteria
- Financial assessment
- Planning your support
- Direct payments
If we feel your needs would be better met with other services, we will still offer you support, information and advice to help you find and arrange your own care.
If you think adult social care can help support you, a family member or friend please get in touch. You can telephone us on 0300 123 6720.
