The Care Act will change care and support for the better and make it consistent across the country. It will help you plan for the future and put you more in control of the help you receive.
In April 2015, the Act will introduce a new national level of care and support needs, new support for carers and deferred payment agreements.
In 2016, the Act will change the way people pay for care. A lifetime cap on care costs and extended financial support will help people with the highest needs and/or modest means.
See how the changes to care and support affect you.
