Gawthorpe's Great Lady: Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth 1886-1967

A new exhibition to mark the 50th anniversary of the death of the Honourable Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth MBE, founder of Gawthorpe Textiles Collection and last resident of Gawthorpe Hall. A remarkable woman who had a fascinating and full life involved in everything from the Girl Guide movement, health and welfare to arts and her textile collection. This exhibition looks at aspects of her life and includes photographs and personal objects that are rarely on display.

There is no additional charge for admission to this exhibition, normal admission to Gawthorpe Hall applies - £4 adults, £3 concessions, accompanied children free, National Trust members free
