FREE TravelWise and Cycling Roadshows
The TravelWise team at Lancashire County Council will be holding roadshow events across the county giving out free travel information and advice. We will be adding more events throughout the year so keep checking for dates and venues.
The Travelwise Roadshow will be appearing at:
Accrington and Rossendale College – Wednesday 3rd Sept 2008
See us at the College Induction Day to get free travel information for the area and free giveaways (open to students and staff of the College only).

St Michaels Ashton-On-Ribble Eco Fair - Saturday 20th September
Come along to get ideas for sustainable travel alternatives and other aspects of daily life and a farmers market. Visit our stand to find out about bus services in the area, including the Orbit bus.

Active Commuting Event – White Cross Business Park – Tuesday 23rd September 2008
Staff at the White Cross Business Park can find out how to get fit and save time and money at the active commuting event. There will be a free bike prize draw, free pedometers, local bike shop staff on hand to answer questions, public transport information and more (open to staff at the site only).

Run Preston and Cycle Event – Sunday 28th September 2008
Come and visit the Travelwise stand at the annual Preston running and cycle race event. There will be live music, children’s activities, bike try outs, acrobats, free giveaways and much more. Everyone is welcome.

University of Central Lancashire Student Life Fair – Thursday 2nd October 2008
Students can come along to find out how to get out and about in Preston using sustainable transport. There will also be cycling activities including make your own smoothie through pedal power, health advice and information and much more (open to students at the University of Central Lancashire only).

Chorley Hospital – Thursday 9th October 2008
Staff and visitors can see us for information about travelling to the hospital and around the Chorley area using sustainable transport and get free giveaways (open to staff and visitors at the Hospital only).

Times – 10.00-14.00
