Health & Safety

'Keep Out' warning sign

Construction sites are very dangerous for children. We have a great deal of machinery and equipment on site which has the potential to cause serious accidents.

Our employees have to wear protective clothing by law and have safety training. For an unprotected child, the site can be a minefield of potentially lethal situations.

We would ask parents to keep a close eye on their children while they are not at school, and to be aware of what they might be up to if they are out on their own. Children will always be attracted to off limits areas, but often they are not aware of the serious danger they are putting themselves in if they enter construction sites. Please make your children understand that the Walton-le-Dale site area is not a playground.
