Roadlife 2006 is now available. The brand new edition is jam-packed with fantastic features and all the latest road safety news in Lancashire.

Catch up with Corrie’s crimper, Maria – Samia Smith – as she talks exclusively to roadlife about being a young driver. Jim Bowen talks speed and Eastenders’ Dot highlights the problems many older drivers face.

Sporting fans can read all about Commonwealth cyclist Emma Davies Jones’ near-miss with tragedy and football fans can see how PNE and Burnley F.C. players have supported road safety over the last season. Check out the football competitions on-line to be in with a chance of winning signed shirts from Claude Davis and John McGreal.

Taking over the centre pages this edition is a new Fun Zone section for kids. There’s also the chance to win a brand new bike and safety helmet, courtesy of TravelWise.

Amir Fights to Promote Road Safety – Summer 2005

Roadlife 2005 - featuring Bolton Boxer Amir Khan

The 2005 edition of roadlife is now available. The glossy 56-page magazine is bursting with fantastic features and all the latest road safety news in Lancashire.

Olympic-medallist Amir Khan speaks exclusively to roadlife about learning to drive and his trials both in the ring and on the road. Local football teams PNE and Burnley F.C. are also featured backing a mobile phone campaign. Two great reader competitions provide new additions to this year’s magazine; readers are given the exclusive opportunity to win a mini I-pod and also £100 in high street vouchers.

It’s bigger…it’s better…and it’s coming soon!

The new roadlife magazine will be available from May 2005.

Read all about Olympic-medallist Amir Khan, his thoughts on the Group’s new PPSS learner-driver scheme and his experience of learning to drive. There’s also an international feature focusing on how road safety is tackled in Botswana, along with a horseriding special on the dangers faced by riders on the roads. Other features include A Day in the Life of a County Councillor - so you can read what really goes on, along with all our regular features detailing the Group’s varied road safety projects – including Right Start and Passport to Safer Cycling updates.

A new magazine – ROADlife – has been launched and sent to around 20,000 people signed up to the Together We Can Make the Difference strategy.

It is also widely available in libraries and County offices throughout Lancashire.

The 50-page full colour glossy publication is packed full of fantastic features, celebrity interviews, safety tips, real-life stories and up-to-the-minute news from the Road Safety Group.
